Chess is learned through interaction. Students learn live, solve positions, play games, analyse decisions and improve through guided feedback.
Students who successfully complete their final project receive an official Beyond Schoolers Final Project Certificate recognising their learning, effort and practical application.

Classes 2 to 9. Classes 2–4 learn the board, piece movement and basic tactics; Classes 5–6 start calculating; Classes 7–8 build planning and positional understanding; and Class 9 works on independent analysis and strategy.
Live. Every session is taught live by an instructor, with questions and discussion. Recordings are available afterwards for revision — they support the live class, they don't replace it.
No. Each stage starts from where students are. Beginners learn the rules and basic ideas first, and students who already play are challenged at their level.
The program is written separately for four stages — Foundation (Classes 2–4), Builder (5–6), Explorer (7–8) and Advanced (9) — so each class learns at the right level.

Yes. Guided games are part of every stage, alongside puzzles and challenges, and games are reviewed so students learn from their decisions.

Quiz and assessment results, practice, puzzles and project completion are recorded on the platform. Students, parents and schools see progress reports, and skills are recorded in the Skill Passport.
Yes. Puzzles and practice positions are set between classes so students keep solving, and they are matched to each stage.
